Kamonyi District uses TIG in developmental activities whereby about 2,300 are doing work that was started in all the sectors of the district.

The gacaca jurisdictions must be concluded fast because there are a few cases remaining. The mediators in the district are also of great importance in the justice system because they receive and settle cases from people and this reduces the load of cases that come to judicially courts.

The population participated greatly in Gacaca courts since their inception up to present. There are still some problems related to gacaca courts. The gacaca judges work in harmony and they obey the law that governs them.

The gacaca judges were trained by the Ministry of Justice and they were facilitated with bicycles and radio. This will help them greatly in easing there work by being able to reach different places easily and getting the current information
