Kamonyi District has got a football team which will represent the district in the 3rd round of the good governance cup and will be provided with all the necessary requirements so that it can achieve its objectives.

But the district still has the problem of good playgrounds for football and other games. The playgrounds that are there now are in a dilapidated state and need to be rehabilitated and there management should be improved also so that they don't get spoiled easily and fast.
