Uko mugenda mwisomera amakuru y'uru rubuga rwacu ntimwibagirwe gukirika (to clik) ahanditse IHURIRO (Forum) maze mwiganirire n'umuyobozi w'Akarere kacu (Mayor). Mushobora kumugezaho ibitekerezo cyangwa ibyifuzo byanyu mu kilika Ahanditse "(Soma Mail)" bityo tukarushaho gusabana.

Prime Minister Bernard Makuza yesterday launched the national school feeding programme in Kamonyi District, Southern Province. The programme was launched at Jean de Paepe Primary School, in Musambira Sector where the Premier participated in the distribution of milk to over 700 pupils. |

 Americans and other diplomats based in Rwanda joined residents of Kamonyi District in Gacurabwenge Sector in the Southern Province to take part in Umuganda. After a call from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, over 40 diplomats from several Embassies in Kigali, including the Belgium Embassy, the Burundian Embassy, the Egyptian Embassy, the German Embassy, the Dutch Embassy, the Russian Embassy, the Representative of the Pope in Rwanda and UN agencies based in Kigali, departed from the Ministry of Local Government at 7:30 am in a convoy to the Kamonyi District, 30 Kilometers South of Kigali. The event was orchestrated by the State Minister of Local Government, the Governor of the Southern Province, Rwanda Defence Officers (RDF), Police Officers and residents of Kamonyi. |

The state minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Dr Mathias Harebamungu has commended teachers in Kamonyi district for their efforts in improving education standards in the area. The minister was in Kamonyi last week to witness the presentation of 2010 Kamonyi teachers’ performance contracts, locally known as ‘Abesamihigo’. Harebamungu noted that Kamonyi district has a vision of improving education as evidenced from the teacher’s performance contracts set by each sector. |
